The absolutely banal office space inside a 1970’s office building in downtown Calgary needed to be “kind of” colonized in the way the Romans founded their “castrum”. Creating hierarchy of spaces, clear and wide circulation “roads”, plazas for meetings and cafeteria in the center (forum) of the complex was the goal of the renovation design.
