Yverdon, Switzerland, 2008

program offices + laboratories

sqm 3300

status competition completed 2008

The new industrial shed is a machine that allows a maximum of flexibility in composition of industrial (at ground floor) and office (at upper floor) lots through the use of classical airport fingers that connect industrial surfaces and related offices that not necessarily occupy the same vertical limits.
Offices volume is shaped by the photovoltaic roof installation that allows a 50% autonomy in energy.
The composition of three elements: base (industrial ground floor), top (offices under sheds) and connection items (fingers) makes the architectural image of the complex.
