We thought that a deep integration of the new museum with the re-constructed Burle Marx’s garden would be the most interesting way to go.
This implied a certain scale relationship between the new volumes and Burle Marx’s snail, and this was the reason for proposing a building that is a sum of volumes related to internal functions.
The Museum is therefore thought as a playful tool for the appreciation of the arts, in total continuity with Burle Marx project’s playful spirit.
